The position marker/courser does not move and the timecode does also not change in playpack mode?
Enter the menue on „Premiere Pro“, „Settings“, „Playback“, in Preferences disable Video Stream Options, which you are not going to use and press OK.

Or go again to „Premiere Pro“, „Settings“, „Audio Hardware“.
Try changing the audio default Input settings to „No Input“ and press OK.
